Disneyland: Day Two (Morning)

We are able to get into the parks 1 hour early, due to staying at the Grand Californian... I wasn't sure if it would make that much of a difference, but it really does! And we were actually the first in line this morning when the park opened - honestly, we were the first ones in the gate! We headed for Space Mountain and woke ourselves up with a BANG! We then went on the rocket-ships, Star Tours and ended up doing Splash Mountain 3 times in a row, with no wait (and actually had the boat all to ourselves on one of them.) Samuel is a thrill-seeker for sure and loves the crazy rides! Keeping up with him would be hard... except that I am having a really fun time too! :-) (We are both constantly talking about what ride to head to next!)

We then went into CA Adventure and went straight to the Fast Pass tix for the Speed Racer ride (which we have for 5-6pm TONIGHT!) Amazing... We then enjoyed the Mater ride (pretty fun, actually.) We then tried to wait in line for the Speed Races, but Samuel decided he would rather go to the Ferris Wheel vs. wait for 55 mintues (can't say that I blame him.) After the Ferris Wheel, we did the little roller-coaster, the Jellyfish ride and then Soarin' (which is one of my very favorites...) He then decided it was time for food and some pool time.

The pool has a great slide, so he had fun playing on that for a couple of hours (well, with a bit of playing with me in the big pool + hot tub in the mix.)

We are now "taking a break" back in the room. I convinced him to work on a nap - and as I look over, he is definitely out like a light! We both NEED a nap if we are going to keep up this pace, so I shall call this post complete!
